Simply Southern Low Country BoilPosted on 09/09/2019 in Menus
Are you looking for a true southern meal to treat your guests to? Have you run out of ideas for your rehearsal dinner? Want to get everyone from the office OUT of the office for a fun evening? A Low Country Boil is the perfect meal.
Our French Cuisine Trained Chef from England turned a bit southern when he met his wife, Terry. Upon moving to the Carolinas, they started their catering business in 1997. Since then, Andrew has added a southern flair to his French-Cuisine Chef training - and wow what a combination!
Our Low Country Boil consists of Shell-on Shrimp (or already peeled for an upcharge), New Potatoes, Corn-on-the-Cob, Smoked Sausage, Celery & Onions, and is served with a Fresh Garden Salad, Green Bean Almondine (or your favorite vegetable of choice), Southern Cornbread and Jalapeno Cornbread, and washed down with Sweet & Unsweet Tea. You can bulk up your boil with freshly steamed Crab Legs, Clams, Scallops, and/or Mussels. Many clients add on tender Grilled Chicken for the friends that don't love county boils as much as we do!
While we are writing of this delicious spread of coastal menu.. Make sure to check out our Build Your Own Raw Bar. What a spread! Choose five from the following: Snow Crab Legs, Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, Scallops on the Half Shell, Mussels in the Shell, Oyster on Half Shell, Oyster Shooters, Little Neck Clams, Peel & Eat Shrimp, Tuna Tartar, and Smoked Salmon.
My mouth is watering just listing those menus off, Mmmm! Don't forget to pair your Coastal Menu with a delicious signature drink. Some North Carolina Crafts Beers & Bloody Marys sould like a great addition to me! What would you add?
